Prince Harry 'risking conflict' with William over potential next Netflix project
Prince Harry could be in 'massive conflict' with his brother Prince William if he decides to press ahead with a Netflix show about his mother, an expert claimed
A royal commentator has hinted at another potential rift between Prince Harry and his elder sibling, Prince William, over a possible Netflix documentary focusing on their mother.
Rebecca English of the Daily Mail discussed the matter on the Palace Confidential podcast, noting that while Harry, 40, might feel compelled to create a documentary about Princess Diana, it could ignite tensions with 42 year old William.
Rebecca pointed out a noticeable change in William's rhetoric regarding Diana, shifting from frequent mentions to a preference for allowing her memory to rest.
The royal expert elaborated: "I think if he was to do it, it would bring him into massive conflict with his brother because although Harry and William together co-operated [on] I think two documentaries about their mother over the years to mark particular landmarks.
"I know Prince William has made a point of saying 'Look, it really is time to let my mothers' memory rest in peace now'. He's made that very very clear, I mean apart from joint charitable initiatives like the Diana Awards which I think are very positive ones, they very much want to park that side of their mother's life."

In essence, William appears increasingly inclined to preserve the tranquillity of his mother's legacy rather than see it perpetuated through further media productions, reports The Mirror.
The memory of Princess Diana continues to spark discussion, especially when it comes to Princes William and Harry. Since her tragic passing in August 1997, she remains a frequent topic for the brothers, though some believe that as time passes, she should be less frequently mentioned.
Fresh controversy has surfaced over whether Prince William and Prince Harry could face off concerning Diana, amid rumours that Harry might be producing a three-part series on her life for Netflix.
There are conflicting reports about this possibility, with some insiders claiming an offer had been made and others denying such proposals. Sources close to Harry have refuted the notion of an upcoming Diana documentary on Netflix.

The late princess's name has come up not just regarding a speculative docuseries by Harry but also related to his forced departure from Sentebale, a charity founded in Diana's memory.
This week it was disclosed that Prince Harry had to part ways with the charity following internal disputes between the board of trustees and chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka.
In a joint declaration with co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, they expressed regret at stepping down as patrons of Sentebale, highlighting their unity with the trustees who were compelled to take similar action.
They said: "With heavy hearts, we have resigned from our roles as patrons of the organisation until further notice, in support of and solidarity with the board of trustees who have had to do the same.
"It is devastating that the relationship between the charity's trustees and the chair of the board broke down beyond repair, creating an untenable situation. What's transpired is unthinkable.
"We are in shock that we have to do this, but we have a continued responsibility to Sentebale's beneficiaries, so we will be sharing all of our concerns with the Charity Commission as to how this came about."
